I was hired by OPTENET and worked in Mexico City for two years.
Despite I was originally hired as a senior C/C++ programmer, Optenet COO promoted me for creating the SQA department shortly after.
Reporting directly to the CIO, I performed the planning, created a standardised model and identified the different areas, responsibilities and roles of the department.
As a final step in the creation of the department, I personally worked on the selection and recruitment of analysts and testers.
After consolidating the department and established the interaction processes, the COO requested my international transition to the central branch of the company in Madrid, Spain.
I am currently working as SQA Director, leading professionals from different geographical areas in the world, and coordinating external QA/QC teams.

that, I was hired directly by the company and started working with a Customer as an outsourcing
As SQA Analyst, I was part of the SQA team which achieved the project certification CMMI level 3.
Whilst developing this position, I got a deep understanding of several SQA methodologies and
improved my team leadership techniques.My responsibilities as SQA Anlayst during this period were:
· Equivalence partitioning definitions.
· Writing new test plans.
· Maintaining existing tests written by other engineers.
· Boundary analysis
After some months I was promoted to SQA Manager where I stayed up to finish the project.
My responsibilities as SQA Manager were:
· Incorporating new testing techniques/methodologies.
· Quality of quality measurement.
· Control critical components using Configuration Management.
· Strong problem solving and troubleshooting
During my previous responsabilities I was also trained internally by IBM, where some of the official
courses I took are:
· Team Leadership (I, II & III)
· CMMI (Introduction to & Intermmediate Concepts)
· SDLC Concepts
· Conducting walkthroughs and audits
· Function points
· Standards and best practices
· Several tools (Rational, Tivoli, Web Sphere, ect)
