Can HTC One play 1080p HD Videos and Movies

KDE - Mar 27 2013
not answered
Question:Summary: Follow this simple tutorial to learn how to convert and play MKV, AVI, VOB, TiVo, MPG, FLV, F4V etc. video files on HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC V etc. phones without format limitations.

HTC revealed its HTC One series smartphones at 2012 Mobile World Congress. HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC V all comes with distinctive and thoughtful designs and are great for watching movies on the go with the large HD screen. However, if you have a glance on the main spec of HTC One handsets, it's easy to find the Android os smartphones supported video format is limited as other phones. Thus, if you wanna watch more 1080p/720p movies on your HTC One, first you need to convert the videos like AVI, MKV, TiVo, VOB, MPG, FLV, F4V etc. to HTC One playable format like MP4, and then transfer them to your HTC One for playback.

In order to successfully play MKV/AVI/VOB/TiVo/MPG and more video files on HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC V, you can just get Brorosoft Video Converter ( http://www.brorsoft.com/video-converter/index.html ), an ideal tool to convert almost any video to HTC One highly compatible video files. Supporting multithreading and batch conversion, this HTC One Video Converter works perfectly on converting standard video formats and HD video formats to all regular video formats like MP4, MOV, MKV, FLV, AVI, WMV, MPG, ASF, etc. with smart video editing features. The audio/video synchronization is very good, the size of the subtitles too. The time it takes to convert in this software is almost half that in other. The equivalent Mac version is Brorsoft Video Converter Mac( http://www.brorsoft.com/video-converter-mac/index.html). Just download the right version and follow the below guide.

How to Convert MKV/AVI/MPG/TiVo/VOB/FLV/F4V to HTC One supported video files: http://www.brorsoft.com/how-to/play-videos-on-htc-one-x-with-best-video-player.html

Step 1. Install and Launch HTC One Video Converter, click "Add Video" or "Add From Folder" icon to import your source Video files.

Step 2. Click "Format" bar, you can easily find the optimized videos for the HTC One X under HTC > HTC One X (Endeavor/Edge) Video(*.mp4). The output videos could fit on your HTC One X/S/V perfectly.

Tips:
If you like, you can click "Settings" to change the video encoder, resolution, frame rate, etc. as you wish. Keep in mind that the file size and video quality is based more on bitrate than resolution which means bitrate higher results in big file size, and lower visible quality loss, and vice versa.

Step 3. If you happy with the settings, just click "Convert" button to start the AVI/MKV/TiVo/VOB/MPG/Flash to MP4 conversion for HTC One. When the conversion is done, you can click "Open" to locate the ripped video/audio files. After that, connect your HTC smartphone to your computer and transfer these media files to your smartphone effortlessly!

If your movie isn't already in one of the HTC smartphone supported formats or it's still on a DVD or a Blu-ray, you can get the Video Converter Ultimate( http://www.brorsoft.com/blu-ray-video-converter-ultimate/index.html ) (or the iMedia Converter Mac: http://www.brorsoft.com/mac-imedia-converter/index.html)which can help you rip Blu-ray/DVD, and convert various formats of 720p/1080p HD videos in MKV, AVI, TiVo, VOB, MPG, MTS, etc. to your HTC Windows Phone 8X, and HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V, HTC J Butterfly, HTC Droid DNA and other Android os tablets/phones for smoothly playing.
