Desktop Screenshots

Yeah, this is a group where I thought we could post
screenshots of our desktops. Why? well, I like looking
at other ppl's desktops and configurations, they give me
Ideas I can't possibly have with my current IQ.

So please! if you have a very nice desktop, don't be shy,
put it up here!

please use bbcode when u post, makes it easier for
other users to view ur screenshot, just put "[url]" in
front of the link and "[/url]" after... then it will look
like this http://www.link.to.ur.amazing.screenshot.html
Thank u for ur consideration!

services one can use to upload pics and then share the link:
http://photobucket.com/ (requires free registration)

if you know of any others, let me know, ok?

You think you have a killer desktop? prove it! :D

 Screens over the years

Hi everyone. I'm glad I found a group of people enthusiastic about the endless variety of ways desktops can be configured. I wanted to post a few screens I've taken over the last year in different installs of Ubuntu and Windows 7.

This first one is an OS X look-a-like I was using one time when I worked on several Macs over the previous weeks (kind of grew to like the aesthetics until I got back to compiz):

This one was a nice install of Windows 7 beta with VirtualBox seamlessly integrating Ubuntu. Photoshop CS4 + Gimp :-)

This one is a beta Windows 7 running in VirtualBox on Ubuntu - Compiz Effects for M$ :-)

Nice to be here :-D

On this one I was basically just testing the additional Cube-Atlantis plugin for Compiz.

I don't think I'll use it for long as it takes a lot of memory.
Cool though.

it 's a mix between OSdark and hydroxygen. I put every icons in OS dark in hydroxgen and finally got that.
