Description:

This is another configuration file for Bespin (SVN version) and accompanying color scheme. I wanted to share this with you as I'm highly impressed with the "animated tab navigation".

You have to import the configuration file with Bespin configuration screen.

Then try out the animated tab navigation with one of your favorite KDE application.

-------------
IN ORDER TO ENABLE ANIMATED TAB TRANSITIONS:
It's like transition settings are not exported/imported with the current settings screen. So you will have to enable it manually:

1. Go to the Bespin configuration screen.
2. Go to the "Tabs" settings.
3. Choose "Slide In" from the "TRANSITION" selection box.

(Thank you for pointing this out Thomas. Thank you for your great theme engine too.)

Have merry X'mas and happy new year...!!!

 tab animation export

hi zammi, just in case you chose another tab transition:
the tab animation mode isn't im- or exported with the presets (should be rather user then style related) so you'll have to post those setings here :-(

open the bespin config dialog (in doubt: call "bespin")
enter the "Menus" tab, you ca attach any color role to the menu bg (fg is done automatically)
if it happens to be a role with a blue color, your menu bg is blue ;-)

I configured it in Bespin settings. If you've imported the color scheme and the bespin settings (and apply), you will also get the same menu.

 Taskbar

by huberti on: Dec 30 2008

I LOVE this theme! thanks a lot!
I got one problem though, my taskbar(or whatever it's called; the panel on the bottom) stays like before after applying bespin and your preset and color settings. So it's not the transparent glossy blue like in your screenshot.
What can I do to fix this?
Thanks a lot!

(I'm running Kubuntu 8.10 and bespin checkout from today)

This seems to be a bug in the KDE beta. Try to resize the panel/ change the plasma theme several time and see (This worked for me).
One other thing you can do is remove plasmarc and plasmaappletsrc files from the location the ~/.kde4/share/config/ and reboot. (But you will loose all your current plasma desktop settings and you may have to reconfigure. make sure you are doing this in the safe mode).

 title bar

How do you get your title bar all one color? I've installed bespin svn and imported both the bespin and color theme. But can't seem to figure out how to make the title bar all one color. Running Kubuntu 8.10.

I really like the style. I was wondering which window decoration is pictured.
