Please direct any questions, bug reports or requests to the original author.

AND PLEASE UNINSTALL FIRST ALL BAGHIRA PACKAGES!!!

Don't ask me for my icon theme,
I can't upload it because apple has
an copyright on it!

You need KDE 3.2.x with QT 3.3.1 as minimum.
And don't try to install the package with: "rpm -i --nodeps"!

If you work on SuSE 9.x with KDE 3.2.x and QT 3.3.1 it is
enough to install the package with: "rpm -i --force"!

If you don't have the choice in your controlcenter to use baghira, update your QT librarys!

Please run the program "Baghira Brushed Switch" from your KDE menu if you want switch to brushed style.

Download link now points to sf.net, rpms for several versions are available, including source rpms!

 Brushed metal

I wonder if there is any specific reason why the Brushed Metal option is a separate menu item (called Bab, i think)?
Why can't it be a selectable option (or a dropdownlist) in Baghira kcontrol panel?

Look in your "Theme/Style" configuration in your controlcenter.

Select "Baghira" and then configure baghira. Try the first option "Default Style is"!

Thanks for the tip. So this means that I don't have to run 'bab' by itself anymore then?

That's a good question, but I think that "bab" is only a fast solution to switch between the styles?!

b/m works fine without bab, but you need it if you want to be bale to run brushed metal and aqua stuff side by side

I have asked Thomas about your problem. Please try to reinstall Baghira.
But first uninstall all Baghira packages, the Baghira-deco package too!
Baghira 0.4 includes the deco!
Send me a mail if it not works. Maybe with a screenshot.

Any luck? I'm having the same problem. No accept button after the change. Please advise. This is such a cool theme that I really really want it to work with my Suse.

I had the same problem when upgrading under SuSE 9.1.

The configuration file
~/.kde/share/apps/kstyle/themes/baghira.themerc
is loaded when kcontrol is started. The difference between this baghira.themerc and the global
/opt/kde3/share/apps/kstyle/themes/baghira.themerc
is that the latter contains the line
ConfigPage=kstyle_baghira_config
which is the configuration dialog we missed.
So you only need to delete ~/.kde/share/apps/kstyle/themes/baghira.themerc

 Baghira 0.4

by Massive on: Jun 30 2004

Ok, first I want to say that thomas knows that baghira 0.4 has some bugs.
He's working on these problems. Leave him some time.

But I have tried to fix some bugs. For the moment I have fixed 3 bugs.
The rest will be fixed by thomas.

I am not a programmer and the only thing that I can do is to hope
that the up coming version has no more bugs.

Please wait some time for a new patch.
Thanks!

I think that Baghira works on FedoraCore2 too, why not?. :)
But for the moment it gives no Baghira package for FedoraCore2.
Maybe you can make us one? ;)
Ask Thomas for other MacOSX styles, he knows it better as I! Sorry for my english. ;)

Sorry for being impatient, but, please make an RPM for Mandrake 10.0.

This is the most awesome style I have ever seen!
Good work!

Let me tell you that I am not the packager for Mandrake, sorry.
Normally Narcis Tesa builds the package for Mandrake.
Maybe he is on vacation or so. I don't wanna steal Narcis his own work at baghira. For the moment I have asked Thomas about Narcis. Maybe he can tell me what's going on. If I have news about Narcis, I'll post it here. That's all what I can do for the moment.
