Thanks

Changelog:

0.8
----
after a long time, this is what should have been 0.7a and is a snapshot of the current cvs version and probably the last baghira for Qt3 ever.
there won't be Baghira for Qt4, don't ask.
- several bugfixes, minor changes, whatever.

0.7a
----
- [style] Reincluded workaround for kpdf < 3.4.3
- [style] added Milk style
- [style] some code enhancements/cleanups
- [bab] removed "start QString name int deco" dcop interface (useless anyway)
- [bab] added "start QString name QString settings" dcop interface to allow starting a program with the rules set for another one (or a general rule like "Milk" ;)
- [menubar applet] size fix (using an own settings value ;)

has anyone here made experience with porting baghira to qt3/win32? you would have to replace the calls to all the kde libs with calls to the corresponding qt files. i am thinking about doing this, but wanted to know whether someone has already tried or at least can provide me with some advice!
thanks

Hi,

Anybody has a theme for Firefox that goes with baghira?

The evolution theme posted in a previous thread is not working yet.

Thanks :)

I don't understand. All you did was use a Photoshop shape and a few effects. I thought Adobe owned the rights to those specific shapes, not you. Can you explain?
(I am talking about the paw logo)

 problem ( bug )

I've also reported this on your sourceforge bug tracking system. But i think it will get more attention here ;-)

Just look at my baghira themed desktop:
http://test.wolterinkwebdesign.com/snapshotbaghire_bug.png

Do you see the inconsistencies?
In the kicker and the konqueror toolbar the background is not overlapping, looks like each panel/component (i only know java swing gui developing, not much from qt) renders the background, but only the top windows should render the brushed-metal background. Hope you understand me.

I'm using kde 3.3.1 under debian

 A small crit.

It's not really that big of a deal, but I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but how ever many times you try to change the windeco button colors (close, maximize, minimize), they still look washed out compared to Mac OS X's. I know you can't legally rip it, but then again, I doubt this really is legal, either (trademark on interface?). I have an example prepared for you: http://www.fivefiftyone.com/uhoh.png

Don't get me wrong. I love Baghira. I just have a few suggestions I think could really help it out, in order to give it the Apple look. If you'd like to email me, contact me at saint@fivefiftyone.com

Try pressing Default in the colors option, like he said before...... Here's an example of the ones from 0.6. Btw, noone has done a debian package, it's been a few days >.>

Mine are at default. Look at the picture I provided. It's not the color, per se, it's the base image through which the tinting is done.
