Description:

A widget style for Qt4
- Pretty configurable
- More Mac than Windows - but no clone at all
- Don't ask me to port Baghira ;-)

As for what to do with GTK+ applications, have a look here:
http://arch-stuff.org/content/show.php?content=134123

It suites the default look pretty well. Set the "Default" titlebar background colors to 239/239/240 and the text to something dark/gray.

---
Thalics complete Bespin Guide is afaik still down, sorry :-(

Changelog:

SVN PATH UPDATE
Due to sf.net updates, the code is now tracked here:
svn checkout svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/cloudcity/code/ cloudcity-code

I wanted to read your blog about the Milk mode for Bespin, and found that support page is on some British forum.

However, the link is broken!

 Small color bug?

Just thought I'd make note of something really quickly for you. Using latest SVN.. When you have the glass effect on the windows, along with the translucent window transparency, the colors don't match for me.

Oh, let me clarify that. I meant the colors don't match with the title bar and everything else. If you look closely, you can see a color difference.

 Window Base Border

 by i4dnf on: Sep 24 2010

Score 50%

hi, there's a slight inconsistency if using vertical gradient for the window style, and some window border in the deco settings, in this case base border (7px wide): the window decoration doesn't get the gradient from the style for main windows. Note it looks right on dialogs
dialog window:

Main window:

note the lighter base window border.

 Icons generation bug

by gadeshi on: Sep 27 2010

Score 50%

When I'm trying to generate the icons pack, the script works, shows progress, but produces an empty *.png files instead of the icons.

As the matter of fact, it creates symlinks to the emty clear (Alpha translucent) file, which doesn't exists in any projects folder.

your imagemagick is broken ... don't worry - seems to hit many users :-(

i've extended the generation script, set alpha to 100 to prevent this issue (and tell your distro to update to a fixed version of imagemagick)

Thanks forthis hint!
I'll try to do as you tell me soon.

However, I have the latest version of imagemagick, that is available on Kubuntu Lucid (I have even upgraded my system using ppa repos). So, the cause of this error must be in something else...

no, it's not - this is a known bug ;-)
(and the command has worked ever since here)

however i actually do not know whether it's on IM directly or some sublying library ... or it could be a bash thing?
try to single quote the xc:transparent 'xc:transparent' in line 114

OK, It's working :)

So, how can I make the script to generate Weather icons for Plasma?

I've found *.svg ones, but haven't found any resulting *.png files.

What should I do with your script to get them?

see alias.README (<rant class="mini"> there was a time like 15 years ago when ppl. actually cared about readmes, so sad... </rant> :-)

Basically you need to know the svg name and the png target path and hang in them to the alias.txt (position doesn't matter but sticking to the alphabet sounds like a good idea :-) - then re-run the generation script (don't worry, it's incremental and will run very fast this time)

 Draw frames

by linuxfever on: Oct 29 2010

Score 50%

Hi again,

I have enabled "draw frames (connected)" for the toolbuttons, which is one of my favourite features.

Nevertheless, even though the toolbuttons are drawn correctly with a box around them when using dolphin or konqueror, this does not seem to be the case when for example trying to open a file with kate.

Is there any way I can change this? Thanks.

not as option. only buttons in "real" toolbars (ie. in mainwindows) are affected by this setting. the main reason was i think color clashes when using the UNO stuff, but also weird look in "abused" toolbars (that locate "somewhere")

commenting lin 164 in toolbars.cpp would be sufficient to change this - you may try and check yourself if you really want "connected" & framed buttons in this dialog...
