Description:

A widget style for Qt4
- Pretty configurable
- More Mac than Windows - but no clone at all
- Don't ask me to port Baghira ;-)

As for what to do with GTK+ applications, have a look here:
http://arch-stuff.org/content/show.php?content=134123

It suites the default look pretty well. Set the "Default" titlebar background colors to 239/239/240 and the text to something dark/gray.

---
Thalics complete Bespin Guide is afaik still down, sorry :-(

Changelog:

SVN PATH UPDATE
Due to sf.net updates, the code is now tracked here:
svn checkout svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/cloudcity/code/ cloudcity-code

 Yet another compile problem

by vonderlieth on: May 9 2010

Score 50%

Hi, I would like to add another compile problem which seems to occur always at various different times of the make process, e.g. after 37, 72 or 94%. Please find the compile output (where I actually got through until 100% before it crashed) at http://pastebin.com/K7X83MHT

My system information is:
hp-desktop bespin # uname -a
Linux hp-desktop 2.6.31-gentoo-r6 #3 SMP Wed Feb 24 21:42:51 EST 2010 x86_64 AMD Phenom(tm) 9550 Quad-Core Processor AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux

Thank you very much for your assistance in advance.
Best regards,
Arend

 Small bug.

 by xax200 on: May 11 2010

In Kdevelop, popups for code sometimes go off the screen, making it difficult to see. Don't know if someone has already filed this but, just FYI. Nice work.

does the popup
a) move to a wrong position
b) have a wrong size, or
c) not adjust it's position while i should (as eg, the cursor is close to a screen edge)

It does this when close to the edge. The popup should move so it's in full view at all times if there's enough screen space.

errr... ok. i'm sory but i've to confess that i was unable to trigger this - the popup is always in screen bounds.

Do you use xinerama or sth. similar?

And just to be sure: you're talking about the code completion window (i.e. you type "draw" and get a list like "drawText"|"drawPixmap"|"drawImage"|..)?

Here is a few images of what I'm seeing.

http://yfrog.com/bcsnapshot3lp

http://yfrog.com/bfsnapshot2pp

The first one shows the screen with enough space to hold the popup without any moving, the second shows the screen that should change the position of the popup to keep it all visible.

Hope this clarifies...

clarifies, but cannot reproduce :-\
the popups are also always topleft aligned to the pointer while in your shot it looks aligned to the lower right. Are you on some rtl* system?

(hebrew, arabian, etc...)

 Bespin preset kdm

I have set Bespin as my qt theme for the KDM desktop manager. Can you add a way to either change the preset that is used in kdm, or to change the default preset, thereby also changing the preset used in kdm.

you already can. the application to bind is "KDM" (upcase, kdm hates accessing it's argv, ie. it segfaults... so this name is synthetic and therefore not "kdm")

BUT: kdm usually runs as root, therefore the settings must be placed in /root/.config/Bespin/Style.conf, Store.conf
(you could eg. symlink your settings files there)

Hi, thx for kool style.

Can you explain how to force task manager to display icons from your set for Firefox or Arora.

I've exchanged all *png icons for them, but it takes no effect.

thnx.

mozilla takes it's icon from /usr/lib/firefox-3.6/icons/, you'll have to override it in /home/seth/.mozilla/firefox/ (maybe "icons" directly or inside your "*.default" folder

don't know about arora, but i think it's encoded in the application binary (if there's no system wide icon, the one provided from the application window will be used, i don't think the plasma taskbar allows you to override this or change preference)

Sorry., my bad, "QVariant::toFloat()" requires Qt 4.6

Try rev. 1102 where this is changed to "toDouble()" :-)
