cool, here's my gentoo ebuild, just copy-paste it into a file called klearlook-0.9.ebuild if you want to attach it as an alternate download:

I'm still using QtCurve though, it's still closer to Clearlooks that this :)

I'll try to modify relevant bits and report back to you, if you're interested

This looks quite good! What specific changes have you made to QtCurve? If you send me a patch against QtCurve then I'll add it as well - and make the corresponding Gtk changes.

Sending the patch would be great - I'll have a look at it when I get the time. But can you also send me a list of changes - e.g. Added highlight to tab", etc. Then I'll know what to look for to add to the Gtk side.

Have you tried to implement the changes on the Gtk side as well? Or is your idea to just implement clearlooks for KDE?

It's a eye-candy (for me) ;-) !
The basecolor is used for toolbar-, dialogs-, windows-, etc backgrounds.
The menubar is a little bit darker. And the popup menu becomes more, more lighter. When you choose a "light" basecolor, then menubar is white. If you choose a darker basecolor, the menubackground becomes a very light version of this color.

In Clearlook the buttons are a bit sunken. I would really like to have such a feature in this style too. BTW, are you planning to make Klearlook look exactly like Clearlook?
