Description:

Tiblit is a KDE style focused on customization and experiments with modern human-computer interaction. My aim with the project is to create a highly customizable QT style that looks completely different than what is currently available.

A bit of a warning about 2.0 beta. Don't bother complaining. It's _extremely_ rough around the edges and I'm building a new tiblit around a different engine. 3.0? Eh...

Build contributions:
The BSD port is provided by dolmant1.
The ebuild is provided by Lenz.

Patch contributions:
Chris Parker - Styleconf

Changelog:

Tiblit Development Versions now available via anonymous pserver cvs access on sourceforge.

 Suggestions

I really like all the work you did with the configurability of your style. Also, your options are cleanly layed out.
I really have gotten used to the hovering causing an indication in tabs and radio buttons in Plastik. It seems that you have used part of that in your style for tabs at least, but it's always on, and not when you hover. Compare your style to plastik sometime and you will notice what I am talking about. Other than that, you did a great job here.

cheers,
-p0z3r

 Alternative Buttons

I don't like the Thinkeramik buttons. How about some alternative button designs?

But the style is great.

Those buttons are modified from ActiveHeart. I like the way those look between light and dark styles.

 Suggestion

A great style. However, IMO the scrollbar groove should not have a gradient - now it looks like the slider (at least for me).

It is not the size of the hammer that counts. It's how you wield it.

If you've got a scheme that matches the scrollbar slider color to the groove color it does make it hard to see the scrollbar slider itself. I'll have to think about redoing the grooves, for now you could either change colors or open up scrollbar-*groove* in gimp and set all the image layers to about 40% transparency. That might help.

 amazing

WOW! this is awesome. It looks great, and is highly customizable and has schemes. amazing!

ok, enough gushing, here's some suggestions/observations:
1) are you using Inactive Window Title bar colour as the default for scrollbars? because some widgets (such as scroll bars) look pretty bad with most of my colour schemes (which use black in the Active and Inactive Window Titles). Of course, I can tweek the colours and fix it, so this isn't toooo serious.
2) I just noticed now, scroll bar colours are not consistent. The scroll bar on this little text box I am typing in on the web form is greenish-grey (from my colour scheme) but Konqueror's scroll bar for the entire window is the dark grey that I set in the style's config. weird...
3)scrollbar highlighting when click/drag would be nice to have.
4)Menu lists are too big/long. some of my bookmarks menus take up more than half the screen. With my other style (phase) they take up much less room. Variable font size and spacing would be cool.
5)checkboxes and radioboxes just look like white circles. hard to see on this webpage, which is white and grey.

This is a great looking style with tons of potential. maybe it's something fresh and new to include into KDE 3.4?
keep up this awesome work! :)
