Description:

Comix flat style for KDE 3.2+.

I hope this adds a little more fun to your desktop.
Thanks to all the authors of previous styles published for KDE. Please read AUTHORS, README and TODO.

Use the styles configuration button to overwrite the contour drawing color.
Use KDEs ControlCenter "Colors" dialog to adjust buttons- and highlight-color as well as the contrast.
Use kcontrols window decoration config-dialog to adjust title alignment and border width.

Also check the corresponding cursor theme at: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=32627

Have fun.

 Konqueror Tabs

by rfujimoto on: Sep 18 2004

Any chance of making Konqueror tabs squish together instead of using that tab-scroller? Or making it an option?

The tab-scroller shows itself when there are more tabs than konqueror's width will allow. I like how Plastik handles this situation by continually squishing them together.

Could this become an option in the configure dialog?

Thanks for the fresh new style... I love it!

Well the konqueror tabs already get squished together if needed. The tabs-text gets cut as much as possible. However, Comix style needs (much) more space than tabs in other styles, so they will get "squished" together earlier, and you tab layout might not fit like it does in other styles.
I hope there is nothing wrong with that?

Ahh, I see. I had thought it was a design decision to see that tab-scroller. Thanks for the info.

Yea, it's amazing.

But I am also searching for a

What is the decoration on the second
screen?

 GTK-QT

The last version worked fine with GTK-QT-0.5, but this new 1.0 version causes most GTK applications to crash when used with GTK-QT. It might cause KDE applications to crash. Even if it isn't a problem for KDE applications, it would be nice to know what happened so that the GTK-QT people could try to fix it.
