'Acqua' is the italian translation of the term 'Water'.
This style it's written with the old KDE pixmap engine, so it doesn't support the trasparent menu effect.
The applications you see in the screenshot are:
GKrellM: System monitoring tool with Acqua skin. http://www.gkrellm.net
Konqueror: Web browser. http://www.konqueror.org
Kopete: Multiprotocol istant messaging client. http://kopete.kde.org
SuperKaramba Kroller applet: MacOSX like dockbar. http://www.kde-look.org
If you want to download this GKrellM skin visit my Home Page. http://www.aronnax.it

Any help as to what I may be doing wrong will be appreciated.

 Menu color and butto

What about making the buttons smaller, so that they more closely resemble the osx style?
Making them rounder, in a way.

And it has been annoying me for some time, how the text on the menu when selected does not change color.

It would be good if the color could change to white when the background goes blue, instead of just keeping the black.

Exellent idea, if i knew how edit those buttons i would have done it long time ago, can anyone make them a lil more like the real os x or at least like mosfet's shape those are great but this one looks a lil too squarty . Everything else looks great ---Mandrake 9.1.....

Really nicely done! Sometimes people do something that looks so good, you'd swear you paid for it!! Really, great job!
