Description:

I found these mockups on the ubuntu forum.
These mockups look like the perfect KDE 4 themes to me, they remind me of current Oxygen themes, but nicer. I don\\\'t have the talent or knowledge to make a theme at all, much less this nice. I hope someone else falls in love with these mockups and decides to make a theme based on it!!

kimmik made a gtk/metacity theme based on these mockups, but not quite the same in my opinion.

If anyone likes the idea of this theme please let us all know by saying so in a comment. Thanks!

man, this is the best mockup seen here for AGES^^
i'm sure many people like me want it to get more attention

but you're right, this shouldn't be done by everyone...difficult question

You might get a better response from developers if you created a nearly complete mockup of the different widgets available -- such as those from here: http://doc.trolltech.com/4.5/gallery-cleanlooks.html; currently, you are missing some critical components such as tabs, sliders, and scrollbars. It would probably even be a good idea to post the different mockups in your thread on the Ubuntu Forums (and/or kubuntuforums.net), where people could vote on which they liked best and suggest improvements. This theme would have a good chance of fruition if you could form a community around it.

It looks great, you have my vote!

Well, this can easily be done on KDE4. Not by me, but if Bespin cound be done, i am sure this can be done.

Really nice mockup.

writing qt/kde-styles is very hard. you have to reimplement all widget paintings (in code). the most programmers who have time and skills can't to these kind of job because they of the ability to recreate these drawings.... because this mockups have more then simple gradients (gradients are hard to copy from pictures), they have glossy effects etc too... .
i looked into skulpture-theme and this theme impl. alone has more then 10k lines of code^^ very hard job...
