Description:

I found these mockups on the ubuntu forum.
These mockups look like the perfect KDE 4 themes to me, they remind me of current Oxygen themes, but nicer. I don\\\'t have the talent or knowledge to make a theme at all, much less this nice. I hope someone else falls in love with these mockups and decides to make a theme based on it!!

kimmik made a gtk/metacity theme based on these mockups, but not quite the same in my opinion.

If anyone likes the idea of this theme please let us all know by saying so in a comment. Thanks!

Got Quantum working and I didn't notice any problems with the SVG's in the widgets so I whant you to know, that I'm building a style for Quantum based on this Mockup

Ok, sorry, but as I worked on this theme using Quantum, I realized, that Quantum doesn't have all the options I need to create a matching and elegant theme! On this departmend there needs a lot of work to be done! unfortunally!

 Its not just the theme

I began working on a quantumsvg clone for this some time ago until I realized that the prettiness of these mockups does not come from the theme itself.

It comes from the properly designed interfaces: Truly minimalist designs with liberally applied white space and correct alignment, proximity and closure.

These mockups also use interface elements that will not exist in current KDE apps or are begin used differently.

If KDE application developers start designing their interfaces like these any theme would look this good.

 Any work in progress?

Is there any hope that we will see this mockup as a real theme for KDE4? It looks great, but nonetheless nothing has changed since 2009... So this looks like an abandoned idea.
